As a response to Dance Craze I decided to post an actual Kenyan video. It is not a dance song, but definitely great and one of my favorites. Unfortunately, it is about a break up. But the song, originally by Kenyan music group, Just A Band, is beautifully sung here by Mumbi. And I love it!
The Kiswahili interpretation goes a little something like this:
Hatuta sengenyana, kudanganyana forever. Hatuta pigana na kumizana again.
We will not insult each other, or deceive each other ever again. We will not fight nor hurt each other again.
